Jason M. Haug
Introduction:
"The reason I decided to become a personal trainer and nutrition wellness specialist was to prevent others from experiencing what I went through. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2002, which led to a multitude of treatment strategies - including high doses of prednisone (a very strong steroid medication which led to a 40lbs weight gain). After having to miss a semester of school and consulting with a surgeon to potentially remove a section of my colon, I felt that there had to be another way. I decided to try an alternative treatment route involving proper nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle management. I am pleased to say that I am no longer taking any prescription medications, I have lost the 40lbs gained on medication, and am the healthiest I have ever been in my entire life!"
